Our
aim is to create custom web sites for our clients. From simple
1 page sites to act as a shop window or simply a personal statement
to larger sites comprising hundreds of pages with full ecommerce
functionality. All of our sites are unique. We are the
digital equivalent of being 'hand built/crafted.
We avoid using templates and clip art because we feel that
it tends to produce a less than professional look and will
certainly not result in a unique site by the nature of its
creation. Each client has a different feel to their business
and their presence on the web should reflect this, so we
involve our clients during the
creation process to make sure that what we are on the right
lines.
Our name Cura Digital is Latin and reflects
our philosophy of 'keeping it simple'. We shy away from
heavy graphics and flash content because we believe that
the vast majority of users want to be able to navigate a
site quickly. We are also aware of the different types of
PCs that potential customers use and so we make our clients
sites easy to load, view and purchase from when it is ecommerce
enabled. Our prices are very low because we don't operate
a 'see you later' mentality once the site is complete. We
charge a nominal maintenance fee to ensure that we keep
on top of any changes and as long as these changes don't
become excessive, we will maintain the site as long as you
want an internet presence. We don't charge 'per image'
and there are no hidden costs.
Another one of our truisms is to 'treat
other people the way you'd like to be treated yourself'.
We value our clients and place at least an equal emphasis
on existing business compared to seeking new business. We
were formed around a nucleus of IT/business experience and
academic qualifications. Our Technical Director has been
involved with the web since it's earliest inception, not
quite Arpanet days, but close. Our Design Lead has an
MSc, BSc and 15+ years IT experience. More importantly however,
we understand how to help our clients achieve what they
want - we listen.
